In these four weeks, we will create and enjoy four different authentic Indian meals. Including Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten free options and a traditional favorite, Butter Chicken.
At the end of each class, we will enjoy the fresh meal, just prepared. Please bring a container in case of left overs.
Vegan Indian Cuisine - We will prepare Chickpeas using various spices like turmeric, Cumin, cardamom, cinnamon etc. Veggie Pulao will be prepared using Basmati Rice, tomatoes, garlic, Bay leaves etc. Indian meals are completed with a Chutney. We will prepare sweet and sour Tomato Chutney.
Vegetarian Indian Meal - Palak Paneer, Lentil soup (Daal) and Roti – Palak Paneer is one of the popular dishes from India where Cottage cheese is added to Spinach cooked with various spices like Fenugreek, Coriander, Chickpea flour etc. Daal is a nutritious dish which can be made easily by the participants after the class. Indian flat breads are made to complete a meal. We will make fresh Roti to go with the Daal and Palak Paneer.
Gluten free Indian Cuisine - Kidney beans, Cumin Basmati Rice and Mint- Cilantro Chutney – We will prepare Gluten free, delicious, nutritious meal. We will prepare aromatic rice using various spices including Cumin, Turmeric and cinnamon. Kidney beans which is high in fibre and protein will be prepared with fresh ginger, garlic, tomatoes etc. To complete the meal we will prepare a fresh mint-cilantro chutney.
Butter Chicken with Spicy Rice - One of the most popular dishes from India is Butter Chicken. We will prepare this Royal dish with various spices including Cumin, Fenugreek, Garam Masala and Cashews. To complement this aromatic and flavored dish we will prepare spicy Basmati Rice.

Students will be notified by phone if their courses have been cancelled and a full refund will be issued.
