CHUTNEY: Fresh, Vegan and Essential Side-Dishes in all Indian Meals
In this class you will make the four of the most popular chutneys, Tamarind, Mango, Coconut and Cilantro. Learn how to identify myriad of fresh herbs and spices from India, how to use them and how to pair them with many common dishes. Also geographical, historical and ayurvedic context of the masalas being used – including health benefits of each. We will end the class with a preparation of a surprise vegan, gluten free appetizer and use our freshly made chutneys to taste!
